This is Cookie, a Pit/Lab crossbreed who was rescued having been severely abused. After rescue, Cookie was found to be infected with heartworms. The vet gave a discount, however, treatment was $585 as she had so many worms, she had to be placed in a doggie medical facility for a week so she could be monitored around the clock. This sweet girl now has a loving home.
